I put the pom-pom trim on only one side of the pillowcase so the girls could have a smooth side to fall asleep on. The white trim pieces are actually men's handkerchiefs, and they're very thin and antique-looking.
Whenever I look at these, I think of my sister-in-law Kari and shabby chic style. This used to be my style all over the house, but now I save pink frilly things for the girls' room.
Jacob probably appreciates it.

oh that is soooo sweet!!! heather you are so gifted!!
I have seen several of your posts that featured these great youth pillow cases, and I love this fun idea. It makes me wish that I had done this for my own kids when the were little. While it's too late for my kids (they're all teens now), I'm tucking this idea away for when I have grandchildren some day.
gorgeous! you could sell these on etsy!
These are so pretty!!! What a great idea! Hope you had a fun Valentine's Day and thank you so much for your sweet comments on my blog awhile back. It has been a lot of fun to read Scripture to the girls and see them soaking it up and memorizing it.
How are things going with you guys? I know a lot of families around here have been fighting sicknesses so I hope you are all well and healthy! Have a wonderful day! :)
Oh, Heather! These are so pretty! I love the ball-fringe trim! What a good idea!
Cute! I love making pillowcases too. I've never tried the fancy trim though. Usually just do a different fabric for the trim. Thanks for sharing!
