I thought I'd stop in and say hello. I've been keeping busy finishing my continuing ed course, but I'm almost finished, so I'll allow myself the luxury of a little blogging. :) (Hopefully I'll finish later today or tomorrow.)
Would you like to join me in a Done and Undone again? This time I'm filling it out for my week as a whole, rather than a specific day.
Done:
1. A great deal of homework (nearly finished!)
2. Made homemade snacks (muffins and cinnamon graham squares)
3. Tried out our grinder attachment for our Kitchen Aid ($3 at a garage sale!)
4. Started thinking more about little things I can do to bless my husband Jacob (I have a suspicion I've been neglecting him a bit lately with all the craziness that's gone on)
5. Started reading The Ragamuffin Gospel
Undone:
1. Scrubbing floors
2. Budgeting (hopefully tomorrow!)
3. Write a thank-you to a neighbor
4. Meet our newest neighbors, bring over cookies or some treat
5. Exercise (I've fallen off the boat with this--maybe the warmer weather will get me into a walking routine)
Join me if you like!

Funny, I was just looking for that cinnamon graham recipe on your blog this morning but now I realize that you linked to it! I need to make these and also some of your granola bars today. We're running low on snacks and I want to use up some of the 50# of 6-grain mix we just got on special through our bulk food club!
My list this week:
Done:
Caught Justus' scrapbook up, something I'd been meaning to do for a couple of months
Got letters/thank-yous/bills done and mailed (what a huge load off my shoulders after putting this off for over a week!)
Got our new TV cabinet from my folks and rearranged things in our living room (they got a larger TV and gave us a beautiful entertainment center--their old one)
Got my sewing area re-organized
Undone:
Spring Cleaning (my hopes of deep cleaning the house died a quick death
Exercise (I've been playing with the kids, walking quickly through stores, and moving furniture and cleaning, but still...I really need to get back to my Pilates and long walks)
Time to read a fun novel
Mrs. Jo,
Thanks for sharing! Spring cleaning is not on my list either this month. Maybe I'll get motivated and do a few projects here and there.
Will you post pictures of your newly rearranged living room?
I'll try to post pics of our living room with our new TV cabinet soon. And I didn't plan to post on the ballet since I couldn't take pics there but I will say that unless you have religious convictions against dance I HIGHLY recommend going to see one! It is is amazing to see what strong and well-trained bodies can do and how graceful they can be. Truly art! I recommend going to a classic, like Swan Lake, or Nutcracker simply because modern ballet (from what I've seen in movies) can be weird, overly sensual, and dark. I recommend seeing a professional troupe. The group that came to my town was from Eugene Oregon and were world-class!
The skirt Ali's wearing is one I made and featured on my blog in Jan. Here's the post:

I decided to go with the patterns from Marie-Madeline because they've been on my wish list for a really long time. They came in the mail today so I'm excited! I got the Sister Chics apron one mainly so I can make apron gifts for friends getting married and decided it was worth getting the pattern for the ruffle skirts since my attempt at making my own without a pattern didn't turn out as pretty as I'd hoped (see my post on Ali's skirt above). The funny thing is, I've been checking the site forever trying to decide and all of a sudden the prices went up! Now the ruffle skirt one is $14 and the SC apron is $10! I was so mad! So I bought the patterns from Crystal's little sister who runs a business called Fashionably Modest Patterns and they were $9 and $12.
I can't wait to see pics of your completed apron in the coming days. Hope your last bit of schoolwork is easy for you!
