Two More Entries in the Apron Show

Two weeks ago during my Apron Show, I mentioned these aprons, and now have pictures to share with you.

I finished my birthday apron last night. Then I woke up early this morning to make morning maple muffins in it (the jammied Sofia helped me).

The thing is, it feels so nice and new, it's almost like wearing a pretty dress. I don't want to get it dirty!

You can read a funny post about what my husband thinks about it on his blog.

Just for fun, I sewed a matching headband for myself, using my niece's pattern. (Pssst. . .stay tuned in the future for the tutorial written by my lovely niece herself!)

To tie up another loose end, here's the apron my auntie made for my Mom:

It coordinates with the one she made for my grandmother.

In case you missed out on the apron show, you can find it here.

Happy Monday, everyone!

that top apron is waayyy too sexy and sophistocated!!! and with a matching headband!! oh my goodness you should sell those! I bet if you made a shop with them in it people would buy them for bridal gifts. its like one of those things that are really tasteful and people like to spend money on. The bottom one is kinda countryish. Pretty color.
You look like you are about to model for a high society cooking catalog or somthing.
Really that top apron is somthing else!!

Cute! So glad to see the final product!

I didn't know Jacob had a blog. I thought his post was pretty funny! My hubby could totally relate. He thinks I'm weird for loving to sew. He wonders why I would want to "work" for hours after the kids are in bed but I tell him I am energized by sewing and it just thrills me!

Heather, you look so pretty in your new apron! I love it! Sophia looks so snuggly in her jammies!

Hi Heather! I, too love your pretty aprons! I should really start thinking about wearing aprons when I cook because I usually end up spilling things all over myself. I make an especially big mess when I am making noodles on my counter and saturate myself in flour! :)

Thanks for your comments on my blog! :) I commented back to you on my blog. I never know if I should respond to people's comments on their blog or mine? I don't want them to miss my response but sometimes it seems awkward if I do it on their blog because then it feels like I'm ignoring what their post is about. Am I making any sense at all here? :) (heehee) Anyway, I always love hearing from you and seeing what you're up to.

Hope you have a wonderful week!
